1. Registration is obligatory to attend the conference as a presenter.
2.1. Registration fee covers the entrance for all sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, snacks, conference materials, one copy of proceedings e-book in a DVD box and a participation certificate.
2.2. The necessary information for participation certificates is based on the data from the registration forms by XING Events or Alternative Payment Methods completed by the participants. Thus no changes can be made after the conference.
2.3. The texts used in the proceedings e-book will be obtained from the EASYCHAIR system uploaded by the already registered participants until the announced full paper submission deadline. No changes can be made after the deadline.
Discounts
3.1. Students, additional papers by the same author or participants of any other DAKAM event beforehand is allowed to use certain discounts, which are specified on the web page of each event on the REGISTRATION INFO page.
3.2. The responsibility of any kind of mistake in filling in the registration form or choosing the wrong category belongs to the participants. All related information on registration categories and services are written on the REGISTRATION INFO page.
Exemptions
4.1. The members of the scientific committee or one of their graduate students can attend the conference without a registration fee for any category.
4.2. For special partnership agreements with departments please see the conference web page.
Language
5.1. All proposals, presentations and papers must be in English, except it is mentioned otherwise on webpage of the conference.
Cancellation and Refund Conditions
6.1. Registration payments are non-refundable. If there is a force majeure, this situation will be evaluated by the organization team.
6.2. If there is any cancellation related to a major change in the dates or location of the conference is made 45 days prior to the conference by the organizer, you will be refunded in full amount and all the money transfer costs or any cancellation service charge from the registration process will be paid by DAKAM.
6.3. If an event is postponed or cancelled due to a force majeure, the refund conditions in 6.2. will be applied.
6.4. Refunds of the credit card payment are carried out by XING Events. After cancelling an order or making a mistake by the participants, DAKAM is not in a position to follow the process. Papers with Multiple Authors and Separate Papers by the Same Author
7.1. In case of multiple authors, co-authors other than the first author do not need to register if they are NOT going to physically attend to the conference.
7.2. If authors other then the presenter of the paper will attend the conference, they will need to register in the Co-Author category in addition to the presenters registration.
7.3. If an author has more than one paper to present at the conference, he/she has to register separately for each paper. A regular fee will be applied to the first paper and the multiple papers rate will be applied to each subsequent paper.
7.4. If the second author of a paper has another paper to present as the first author, both first authors have to register in the regular registration category. Additional paper category is only valid in case of the same first author.
Additional services (accommodation, city tours, dinners etc.)
8.1. If the attendies would like to buy any of the additional services which are mentioned on the ACCOMODATION & TOURS page, they must select the services in the registration form.
8.2. The conditions and prices of the additional services are constant.
8.3. The additional services are non-refundable
